Peace with God

God has made peace with those who come to Him, now we can make peace with God
Start

We need to counsel everyone we know to make peace with God.

Some might say that they are unsure whether it is worth it thinking that perhaps God has yet to have made peace with us, but the fact is that God has made His peace available to us, and all we have to do is accept it.

Those who are justified by faith have already been afforded peace.

Being justified means to be made guilt free in the sight of God. It means to have been made right in His sight, which is the perfect place to be spiritually, socially, morally and eternally.

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Romans 5:1-2

What is it that justifies us before God? Faith. Righteousness will be ‘be imputed to us who believe in Him who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead (Rom.4:24).’

We are made righteous through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, at which point we have peace with God through Jesus Christ.

We have it. We are not waiting for it in the bye and bye. We receive peace right now when we receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. He is our Peace (Eph 2:14).

Before He went to the cross, and before He ascended, Jesus told His disciples, including all who followed after them, that left His peace with those who believe.

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.

John 14:27

God is all about peace. He has made peace with those who will come to Him.

It is our place now to be at peace with God. We need to throw off all forethoughts that may have been negative towards God, and any wrong teaching about Him that tried to steer us away from the truth that He loves us and has made the way clear for us to be at peace with Him, and for God to be at peace with us–forever.

If you are still struggling with the idea that God wants to be at peace with us, and if you are still wrestling with your own limitations, sins, lovelessness, spiritual misconceptions and fear of rejection by God, then now is the time to shake off those shackles.

But first, receive His grace. Accept His offer of righteousness. Step into His peace. Know His love.

Today is the day.
